Originally created in 2014 in partnership with Red Earth Theatre Company, the production toured the UK to small theatres and then Kiruna and Gareth put the idea to rest. During the Pandemic, whilst shielding in week 9 of their social isolation, they decided to think creatively, turned their kitchen into a theatre and began a whole new set of stories starring Pirate and Parrot. The pair work remotely with their Director, Amanda Wilde and writer Wendy Rouse from Red Earth Theatre. Jonny Berliner, Gareth’s cousin, creates the soundscape and music and David Berliner, Gareth’s brother wrote the theme song.
